    首都北京目前正处于工业化中期向后期推进的阶段，工业化进程尚未最终完成，国际大都市发展内在规律要求首都必须加快技术创新和高新技术产业化进程，完善产业链，提高产品附加值。当前，新型工业化道路出现的二、三产业之间相互融合的趋势，有利于充分发挥北京的比较优势，推动高新技术产业和现代服务业的互相促进、共同发展。北京工业必须坚持以科学发展观为统领，紧密围绕“新北京、新奥运”的战略构想，走新型工业化道路，以信息化带动工业化，以高端、高效、高辐射力和资源节约、环境友好为产业发展方向。

Time management: A new approach from ancient Greece!
