2008年12月20－21日，中国电子学会工业工程分会组织召开了以“信息化与服务科学”为主题的第十二届全国信息管理与工业工程学术会议，组织有关专家学者交流讨论信息管理与工业工程的最新研究成果。

2009 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Engineering and
Engineering Management

The Annual IEEE International Conference on Industrial Engineering
and Engineering Management (IEEE IEEM) started IEEE Engineering
Management Society Singapore Chapter has been successfully organized
twice in Singapore, each time with close to 500 participants from
more than 40 countries. The conference aims to provide a forum to
disseminate, to all branches industries, information on the most
recent and relevant innovations, theories and applications in
Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management. IEEE2009 will be
held in Hong Kong, jointly with the Hong Kong Chapter. We hope the
conference will continue to help link researchers and practitioners
in different branches of industrial engineering and engineering

“连续六年的高速增长之后，我国装备制造业的发展到2008年出现了拐点，增速明显回落，“寒流”袭来，装备制造业冬天到了。”12月7日，中国机械工业联合会执行副会长朱森第在清华大学举行的“2008年中国制造业、物流业CEO高峰论坛暨东风日产杯IE亮剑全国工业工程应用案例大赛”上，这样形容我国装备制造业面临的形势。

　　朱森第指出，受全球经济危机影响，拉动我国装备制造业的两大动力–固定投资和出口目前都明显下降，所以装备制造业已进入调整期。又因为“制造业与其他行业相比，受经济大环境的影响有些滞后，所以最困难的时期应该是在明年上半年。” (more…)
